A BIBLICAL PATRIARCHAL WEDDING
![]()
A WEDDING FORMAT
This wedding format serves as a guide, irrespective of whether it is a monogamous or polygamous one. The emphasis here are elements of Hebraic roots and Kingdom minded Patriarchy that should be honored in weddings of God's people who want Him to be in the core of all that they do. It is subjected to adaptations according to your needs, circumstances and commitment in God. You will be surprised at the blessings and the manifestation of His presence when He is so highly honored.

Marriage is a union of 2 lives into 1. It is a:
* Union into 1 natural life on earth
* Union into 1 flesh in the physical
* Yet it is a spiritual union to share spiritual experiences
* and it is sacred because it is instituted by God
* and it is a solemn vow before men and God bearing witnessesEph 5:22-29
Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. Thus hereafter, in this manner, shall the relationship of the groom and bride be.1) MARITAL COVENANT READ & PRESENTED - 5 mins

A ring is a precious token of love to one another, made of precious gold representing the high value of love, a never ending circle indicating the continual love that never fails. This ring is a continual reminder of the faith and confession they made this day to each other before God and men.Bride as she puts ring on Grooms finger: With this ring I am wedded to you. In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

Bride: So be it. Amen.6) BREAK THE GLASS - 5 mins
