LOVE
DEFINED
(1 Corinthians 13: 4-8)

Love suffers long but not forever
Love is kind but strict
Love does not envy but enlarges in God’s promises
Love does not parade itself but is bold in expression
Love is not puffed up but stands up for what is true
Love does not behave itself rudely but resists what is ungodly
Love does not seek its own but carries a good self-image
Love is not provoked but responds to challenges
Love thinks no evil but is wise as a serpent
Love does not rejoice in iniquity but rejoices in truth
Love bears all things but not passively
Love believes all things but not gossip and careless talk
Love hopes all things but not against the will of God
Love endures all things but does not condone evil doings
Love never fails but love prevails
