THE TRUE WINNER

If life is like a game, I know every ball is precious - every moment and every event, every dollar and every cent. You want to win and win you must. But you have to let others win too, and you may have to lose some before you can win more, and sometimes you may have to give it all. You may have already won many victories, but the ultimate victory is to stay on to the last ball and win the last game.

You are not a true winner if you are the only winner and everybody else is a loser. You must, while you win, help others live and win, and you look far beyond to win much more. You look into where others do not look or refuse to look. You tread into where others refuse to tread. And after you have arrived, be gracious to bring others there, even the difficult ones.

This is God's way of a true winner. He will be proud of you, and this itself is the ultimate victory of man.
