THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

A dream that changed my life .....

I once had a dream. I saw a board game. There were pieces of tokens, and upon each of them were written the various characteristics, desires, ambitions, professions etc .... depicting different people from all walks of life. They were all lined up in a race.

At the "GO!" command, they began to race, moving in all directions, in different manners and speeds, but each moving in its own unique way.

My attention was drawn to a particular token which was moving in a rather different manner from the rest. It was moving, as if not in its own strength, and not at its own pace. It was sometimes unseen, sometimes conspicuous, sometimes it stopped, sometimes it moved at lightning speed, and sometimes not in any logical pattern. This particular one hit the finishing line first and won the race.

I was curious to know who it was that won, and it was clearly told to me, "The one that won is the one who has God's purpose in his life." With that I awoke.

And thereafter, life was never the same again, beginning with a hot pursuit after my Maker ...GOD
